One of the reasons I settled for Netflix is that when I decided to take the computer back from my youngest, I saw she was writing a story. Her sister was in a chair, typing away on a Chrome Book, also writing a story.
I don't mind bumping the kids from the computer when they're playing games, but this was different. I looked from one to the other, listened as my youngest explained her basic plot, and decided it was the most awesome day ever.
I worked on my own story late in the evening, but I feel more satisfaction from seeing my kids write.
