Bethlehem 6:00 p.m. Local Time
The little town of Bethlehem is anything but still tonight as the “Vote for Jesus” rally is underway. It seems the entire town, as well as surrounding villagers and shepherds have turned out tonight to show their support for their favorite candidate.
Jesus is a real star in Bethlehem, where it was recently confirmed that it is indeed the birthplace of the man many believe may be the promised savior. You can hear the joy in their voices as they sing and shout around the great fires.
This is normally a typical small town, where not much goes on besides the usual day to day business. That makes this event all the more unusual and amazing. These small town folk don’t have a lot to celebrate, but when they do, they sure know how to turn it up.
One of the locals just handed me a gift bag full of food. That’s the sort of generous outpouring we have come to expect from Jesus’ followers after months of campaigning. I can see why his support base has grown.
He is known for bringing hope to the hopeless, restoring sight to the blind, helping the lame walk. He is, for lack of a better name, the Miracle Man.
What else does this miracle man have in store for us? Only time will tell.
