Jerusalem Marketplace 6:00 a.m. Local Time
Morning in the marketplace finds Jerusalemites bright-eyed with well-concealed excitement as Sanhedrin front runner Malachi takes the stage for his first public address since announcing his candidacy a few weeks ago.
Malachi is expected to address rumors that Jesus of Nazareth has performed miracles on the Sabbath, something the Sanhedrin Party has openly spoken out against in the past.
This will be the first in a series of speeches by Sanhedrin members as their convention comes to a close later this evening.
The polls, conducted as always with rigorous attention to detail, all come out in Malachi’s favor, and we fully expect him to get the nomination.
It has been at least five generations since the last Sanhedrin convention ended when a prankster streaked through the gallery shouting the lyrics to the cult classic “Make Way” by the underground band “The Lepers.”
