Jerusalem 8:00 p.m. Local Time
It has been quite a day for Jesus of Nazareth(or Bethlehem) and his supporters as word of his miraculous deeds and astounding words have finally made their way to the Holy City.
From healings to exorcisms, Jesus is making a name for himself as a wonder worker in the Judean countryside. But not everyone is happy about these “good works” as we found out earlier this morning when a swine herder from Genesaret came into the city accusing Jesus of killing his entire herd and effectively destroying his livelihood. His reports met with shrugs from the locals as swine are not particularly well-liked. In fact, this story has become somewhat of a favorite among Jesus supporters.
When asked about the event, one campaign staffer quipped, “Jesus tries to exorcise at least 3 times a week, just to stay in good shape.”
Clearly, this man is something to behold. While some describe him as being “meek as a lamb,” others talk of his absolute authority over demons and his apparent dislike for petulant fig trees.
Whether you are with him or against him, you can’t help but take notice of Jesus of Nazareth.
