No Regrets(or fewer, at least)

10/21/2014

In the interest of  lessening the instance of regrets, I have decided to focus less on what I want to do, and more on what I want to have done.  For example, I do not want to exercise today, but I want to have exercised.  I do not want to force myself through another five hundred words, but I want to have written those five hundred additional words.

I believe this will also work in the reverse case.  I want to eat a cinnamon roll for lunch, but I don't want to have eaten one for lunch.  This may be a useful deterrent, and should help balance things health wise when the exercise thing doesn't pan out.

Being goal-oriented on any scale is good for me, and I am hopeful about this new outlook, especially as it pertains to my writing.

Cleaning Day

Today is cleaning day for my writing.  I actually woke up smiling about this very thought.  Not only will I be gathering up all my notebooks and boxes and bits of paper that are currently scattering my creativity about the house and hard drive; I will be choosing a story to post on the website!

That's right!  Organized writing for me = free story for you!

Stay tuned....
